Engineering Works
The technical design, structural engineering and infrastructure-planning phase — the intellectual blueprint behind every build. From feasibility and shop drawings to load calculations and coordination, our engineers translate a client's vision into a buildable, compliant and cost-efficient plan.
Engineering that makes a project buildable
Every First Builders project starts at the drawing board. Our engineering team turns a client's brief into a design that can actually be built on time and on budget — structurally sound, compliant with the governing codes, and coordinated across architecture, structure, interiors and MEP before a single excavator arrives on site.
Because the same company that designs the building also builds it, decisions made at design stage are tested against real site experience: how a raft will be poured, how a facade will be clad, where services will run. That is how integrated delivery removes the expensive surprises that appear when design and construction are handled by firms that never speak to each other.
What the engineering scope includes
- Feasibility studies that test a site, a programme and a budget before money is committed.
- Design — architecture, structure, interior design and photorealistic 3D renders, so owners and investors can see the finished building early.
- Quantity surveying and cost estimation with a full Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for tendering and budget control.
- Planning and monitoring: programmes and progress tracking that carry straight into construction.
Questions to ask any engineering partner
Ask who will build what they design, how quantities are measured, and how design changes are priced once work starts. A partner that also delivers construction answers those questions with evidence from its own sites — like the residential buildings at Bait Elwatan in New Cairo or Al Rawy Plaza in Jeddah.
