Long spans, fast programmes
Steel is the right answer when a client needs large clear spans, a short programme or an extension on top of an existing building. We engineer, fabricate and erect structural steel for factories, warehouses, roof extensions and long-span commercial spaces.
Two very different steel jobs
At Badr Factory we erected a pre-engineered steel building: portal frames lifted by mobile crane, welded beam-column connections, roof purlins and bracing, then wall cladding to a completed industrial shell.
On a steel roof extension we framed a new floor in primary and secondary beams with bolted connections, laid composite metal decking, fixed slab reinforcement and poured a concrete topping to create a composite slab — adding usable space without demolishing anything.
What to check before you buy steel
Ask for connection details, erection method statements and how the steel interfaces with the concrete and cladding packages. With one contractor responsible for all three, those interfaces are designed once and built once.
