Bin Sulaiman Business Center is First Builders' flagship project: a 42,150 m² commercial business center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, built for Dr. Ghassan Al-Sulaiman with a project cost of 105,000,000 SR.
Our scope ran through every stage of the building. On the sub-structure we handled site clearance and demolition, excavation with timber shoring, bulk excavation and the reinforced raft foundation. The reinforced-concrete frame followed — columns, floor slabs and pours by concrete pump — with a tower crane erected to serve the upper floors.
The roof was waterproofed with membranes and thermal insulation boards. Finishing covered plastering and painting, granite and limestone cladding, curtain-wall and aluminium glazing, glass-and-steel balustrades, marble corridors and lift lobbies, a stone-paved courtyard and the finished basement car park. The MEP package included the electrical substation and transformers, services distribution in trays and ducts, split HVAC units, fire and booster pump sets and the lift traction machinery.
