Sheriff Plaza (Heliopolis Plaza) is a building with a built-up area of 874 m² in Masr Al Gedida (Heliopolis), Cairo, delivered for Eng. Taha Mansour with a project cost of 20,000,000 EGP. It is the most completely documented project in our portfolio — photographed from the first excavation to the finished facade.
The sub-structure began with excavation and soil replacement, a shored basement braced with steel struts, a plain-concrete blinding layer and a reinforced raft with its earthing. Before the basement walls rose, the foundation was waterproofed with bituminous, torch-applied membranes and protection boards.
The structure followed floor by floor: columns, ramps and walls, the basement roof slab, then the repetitive floors. Finishing covered masonry and plaster, GRC and marble cladding with aluminium windows, Alucobond false ceilings, clad columns, a curtain-wall entrance and granite floors. Our MEP scope delivered plumbing, fire-fighting mains and sprinklers, MDB panels, earthing, HVAC ductwork with an air-handling unit, electric, diesel and jockey fire pumps, and Kone lifts.
